This Privacy Policy explains how TyreFinder handles the information you share when you use this website — in plain terms, with the specifics of what we actually run.
TyreFinder ("we", "us") is a tyre sourcing desk operated from South Africa. We are the responsible party for personal information collected through this website under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). You can reach us at info@tyrefinder.com.
When you submit a sourcing enquiry or list stock, we collect the details you provide: your name, company, email address, phone number, and the tyre requirement or stock you describe. If you email us, we keep the correspondence. We do not collect payment details through this website, and there is no user account or login on the public site.
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, source or place the stock you asked about, and manage the resulting commercial process — on the lawful bases of performing the steps you have requested and our legitimate interest in running a sourcing business. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Enquiries and stock submissions are stored in our own database, hosted with Cloudflare (which also serves this website and provides its security layer — Cloudflare may process technical data such as your IP address in server and security logs). Notification emails are delivered through Resend, our email provider. The page fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the font files load. These providers process data on our behalf and may do so on servers outside South Africa; we choose providers that commit to appropriate data-protection safeguards.
Access to stored enquiries and submissions is restricted to the TyreFinder team. If you list stock with us, your identity and stock details are treated as confidential and are never published or shared without your permission.
This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies of its own. Cloudflare may set strictly-necessary security cookies to protect the site from abuse.
We keep enquiry and stock information for as long as it stays relevant to an active or potential sourcing relationship, and for any period the law requires us to retain business records. You can ask us to delete it sooner (see below).
Under POPIA you may ask us at any time to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to access it, to correct it, or to delete it, and you may object to our processing of it. Email info@tyrefinder.com and we will respond. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you may complain to the South African Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za). If you are in the EEA or UK, we honour the equivalent rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection.
If we change this policy, we will update this page and its date. This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
